David Bryan Speck, 66

David Bryan Speck, 66 of Portsmouth, died Monday, February 23, 2026 at SOMC Hospice. He was born February 15, 1960 in Portsmouth to the late Norman and Mary Boyd Speck.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Cathy Clark and 2 brothers; Blaine Eugene Speck and Duane Lee Speck.

Bryan was a loving father to his son and enjoyed expressing his love for his wife. He spent most of his spare time outdoors with his Roosters and his buddy’s. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. He never met a stranger.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Rachel Dawn Stahler Speck, whom he married on May 3, 2015, his son Holden Speck, a brother, Eric (Anita) Speck and a sister, Nancy (John) Thompson.

Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Monday, March 2, 2026 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Brian White officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday starting at 5:00 PM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
