Dorothy Sue “Dottie” Stringfield, 62

Dorothy Sue “Dottie” Stringfield, 62 of Portsmouth, died Monday October 6, 2025 at her home. She was born December 24, 1962 in Sevierville, Tennessee to the late Edward and Jestine Cogdill Greene.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Paul, Lester and Danny Greene. Dottie had a big heart. She loved God and her family. She was very family oriented. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She loved country music and loved to dance.

Dottie is survived by a son Douglas (Virginia) Brunner Jr., a daughter Carolyn Jestine “Jesse” Brunner (Punkin Baby), a sister, Linda Coppenger, an aunt, Katherine Carpenter, 13 grandchildren; Dominic, Jasiah, Lavaya, Analicia, Alexis, Zaiden, Brailey, Julian, Maddix, Christopher, Gage, Coalton and Brianna, one great grandchildren Jaxon and one on the way.
