Edward E. Ferguson, 38

Edward E. Ferguson, age 38, lifelong resident of Elyria, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at St. John’s Medical Center in Westlake. He was born in Middleburg Heights to Rita (nee Arthur) and Eddie Ferguson.

Edward worked as a school bus aid and an Auxiliary Sheriff Deputy for Lorain County. In his free time, he loved going to concerts with his cousin, baking, walking, DJ-ing, and gospel music. He was known to be a very helpful and giving person to both his friends, family, and anyone who needed a hand.

Edward is survived by his parents, Rita and Eddie Ferguson, brother Nathan (Nicole Rood) Ferguson, his pride and joy nephew Nathan Ferguson Jr. and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his cousin Kortney.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8:00PM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday March 15, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at McKendree Cemetery in Stout. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
