Edward Ridout, 76
Edward Ridout, 76 of Pensacola, Florida, formerly of Portsmouth, died Monday August 21, 2023 at his home. He was born November 19, 1946 in Portsmouth to the late Henry Orville and Martha Shepherd Ridout.
Along with his parents Ed was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Donald, Paul, Ollie and David Ridout and a sister Betty Hopkins.
Ed was a 1964 graduate of Portsmouth High School and was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired as a computer programmer. He worked all over the United States doing computer work for banks.
Ed is survived by 2 brothers: Johnny Ridout and Jim Ridout a sister Judy Ridout along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday September 12, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park with military rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
