Elaine Mae Tieman, 47

Elaine Mae Tieman, 47 of West Portsmouth, died Monday February 28, 2022 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1974 in Portsmouth, to Gregory and Linda Speas Jordan.

Elaine was a 1992 graduate of Portsmouth West High School. She was a Registered Nurse and worked many different places; Orient Correctional Facility, Southern Ohio Correctional Facility, Adena Hospital and was currently at SOMC in the Cath Lab until her illness. Elaine loved softball. She was the youngest girl to ever play in the World Series.

Along with her parents Greg and Linda, Elaine is survived by the love of her life of 32 years Jimmy Tieman whom she married on April 6, 1996, a son Jordan Tieman and a daughter Kimberly Tieman, 2 brothers: Timothy (Leslie) Jordan and Stephen Jordan, nephews: Logan, Blake, Bryan, and Caleb and nieces: Annabelle, Skylar, and Ally along with several cousins. She also loved her dogs: Penny, Bella, Gracie, and Remi.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Dry Run Church of Christ with Mark Seevers officiating and interment in Collier Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday starting at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
