Ethel “Lois” Hackworth, 84

Ethel “Lois” Hackworth, 84 of Blue Creek, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 at River Run of Portsmouth. She was born June 10, 1936 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Carlton Burnon and Naomi Iann Hall McEntire.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard McEntire.

She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in New Boston.

Lois is survived by 2 sons; Jim (Peggy) Pauley and Robert (Shelly) Hackworth, 3 daughters; Jodi (Heath) Piatt, Gail (John) Kegley and Kay (Anthony) Moman, a sister, Bernice Fortenberry, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with interment in Piatt Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday starting at Noon. Condolences may be sent to www.roogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
