General Ras Hammonds, 61 of McDermott died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his residence.  He was born December 12, 1956 in Scioto County to the late General Ras and Lydia Irene Hobbs Hammonds.  He was a mechanic and a Jack of all trades. 

General is survived by his wife Pamela Gering Hammonds whom he married September 23, 1993, several children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, a sister; Virginia Kitchen, special friends; Janet Hammonds and Isaac (Tia) Aleshire.
