Jerry Paul “Rocky” Igaz, Sr. 55

Jerry Paul “Rocky” Igaz Sr. 55, of West Portsmouth, died Thursday June 5, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on June 28, 1969, to the late Julianna Igaz Crane.

Jerry was a man of many traits but valued his family and friends more than anything, especially his CDG, Shawnee Lodge, and Weaver family. He worked in maintenance for the Shawnee Lodge where he made several friends over the years and loved going to the SOMC Life Center for his therapy where everyone there was like family to him.  When he wasn’t spending time with his family, he enjoyed putting together model cars, gardening, and fishing. He was also a big fan of NASCAR and wasn’t afraid to show you on the streets, either.

He is survived by his wife Rhonda Coleman Igaz who he married September 11, 1998; 2 sons, Jerry “JP” Igaz II, Joseph (Whitney) Igaz; a brother, John Igaz; a grandson, Joseph David Igaz; his mother-in-law, Rhonda Sparks; many close friends; his work friends who became more like family, as well as many special nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family members. 

Funeral services will be 12:00PM Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home with Carlene Shaffer officiating and interment at Scioto Burial Park.  Visitation will be 6PM to 8PM on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made directly to the funeral home.  Condolences and donations may be sent to rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
