Joy Marlene Irwin, 63

Joy Marlene Irwin, 63, of New Boston, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 29, 1961 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Charles and Betty (Setter) Foster.

She was a West Portsmouth High School graduate, was a homemaker and attended Grace Chapel Church where she found peace in her Lord. Joy’s grandkids were her pride and joy, she loved them all very much, she was known to them lovingly as Honey.

She is survived by her kids, Keri (Drew) Piatt, Josh (Britta) Irwin; her grandchildren, Logan Journey, Sloan Piatt, Isaiah Piatt, Troy Piatt, Eli Irwin, Noel Irwin, Aria Irwin; two brothers, Butch Bauer, John Foster; one sister, Sharon Howard, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Drew Piatt officiating. Burial will be at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
