Kenneth Richard Hayslip

Kenneth Richard Hayslip, 65, formerly of West Portsmouth, passed away on August 9, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born on October 7, 1959, to the late Donald and Shirley (Boehm) Hayslip.

Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by an infant son, Little Kenny Hayslip, and a great-granddaughter, Lila Frisby.

Kenneth made his living in construction, specializing in drywall. He was known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. Outside of work, he enjoyed sports of all kinds, playing cards and darts, riding motorcycles, and spending time outdoors.

He is survived by three children, Kendra Hayslip, Brandy Hayslip (Dave Bowling), and Kane Hayslip (Lexis Hatfield); seven grandchildren, Debbie, Randy, Taylor Frisby, Jordan Whitesed, Dakota Powell, Ethan Judy, and Paisley Cox; three great-grandchildren, Natalie, Ralston, and Gunner Frisby; five brothers, Dale, Ronald, Howard, Ralph, and Larry Hayslip; a sister, Audrey Cooper; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
