Margaret “Peggy” Buckley, 90
Margaret “Peggy” Buckley, 90 of West Portsmouth, died Saturday. April 22, 2023 at her home. She was born January 13, 1933 in Ironton to the late Clinton and Eloise Nelson Lemons.
She retired after 30 years as an Legal assistant at Kimble Law Office. She was also a member of Dry Run Church of Christ.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 71 years Frederick L. Buckley whom she married on August 18, 1951, 3 daughters: Louann (Ernest) Ridout, Lynn (Tom) Perry and Susan (Rick) Vicars, 7 grandchildren; Amy Powell, Amanda Crawford, T.J. Perry, Chad Perry, Travis Perry, Josh Cannon and Jennifer Estep along with 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday April 26, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating and interment in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. The family wishes to thank SOMC Hospice for their wonderful care.
