Mary Delores Moore, 72

Mary Delores Moore, 72 of Portsmouth, died Tuesday June 4, 2024 at her home. She was born November 15, 1951 in Greenup, Kentucky, to the late Finess and Lola Boggs Burnett.

Along with her parents Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland Mershon and her second husband, Roby Moore, a brother Robert Burnett and a sister Juanita Reynolds.

Mary was a member of the Rock Church, where she was involved in Women’s studies and the book groups. She loved her church community.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Penny (David) Williamson and Veronica (Ralph) Middleton, 2 sisters; Laura Cooper and Betty Howerton, 6 grandchildren; Brittany (Ronald) Green, Larry D. Moore, Brandon (Heather) Moore, Cody Moore, Robert (Robin) Lunsford and Andrew Lunsford, along with numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Rick Clark officiating.
