Nedra Kenyon, 79

Nedra Kenyon, 79 of West Portsmouth, died Sunday, October 27, 2024 at her home. She was born July 29, 1945 in Portsmouth, to the late William Ernest and Garnet Mae Monk Pistole.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Speaker Kenyon, whom she married in 1966, 8 brothers; Carl Pistole, Homer Pistole, Bill Pistole, Ralph Pistole, Herbert Pistole, Danny Pistole, Jimmy Lockhart and Jerry Lockhart, 5 sisters; Eloise Osborne, Emma Jean Ratcliff, Brenda Messer, Martha Jean Webb, and Janet Evans.

Nedra was a homemaker and a member of Old Town Methodist Church and South Shore Nazarene where she loved singing and playing the piano.

Nedra is survived by a son, Gary Charles (Shella) Kenyon, a daughter, Geli Ann Yeagle, 2 grandchildren; Daulton Ryan Kenyon and Mason John Yeagle, great grandchildren, Noah Kenyon, Riley Kenyon, and Ben Kenyon, A brother, Kevin Pistole, and a sister, Ruby Hubbard.

Funeral services will be 11AM Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor David Robirds officiating and interment in Sandy Springs Cemetery.
