Norma Lee Beesler, 90

Norma Lee Beesler, 90, went to be with the Lord, March 28, 2023, in her home under the care of her family and SOMC Hospice. She was born in South Webster, on April 24, 1932, to the late Albert and Martha “Etta” Slack Beesler.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by 4 brothers, Edward, Albert Jr., William “Bill”, and Bob Beesler, and 6 sisters, Esther Beesler, Loretta Fern Smith, Charlotte Lucille Bishop, Virginia Mae Smith, Lola Richardson, and Betty JoAnn Beesler.

Norma retired from Williams Shoe Factory where she began working at 17. She loved her family, especially children, and she loved the Lord.

She is survived by her daughter, Rita Jo Newcomb; 2 grandchildren, Angela Jo Wagner and Christopher James Newcomb; 4 great grandchildren, George, Jake, Colton, and Cassie; 2 great-great grandchildren, Bulvine and Sophia.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2023, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday starting at 11:00AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
