Ray Shonkwiler, 64

Ray Shonkwiler, 64 of Portsmouth, died Wednesday February 5, 2025 at his home. He was born June 11, 1960 in Portsmouth to the late Vernon Shonkwiler and Betty Smith Crabtree who survives.

Ray was an avid animal lover and loved spending time with his great nephews.

He is survived by his sister Veronica Sue Baker, a niece Kristen (Mark) Owens-Nicholson, his great nephews Bentley Shonkwiler, Anthony “AJ” Cole, Oliver Owens-Nicholson, and his stepfather Bud Dodds.

A visitation for Ray will be held on Monday February 10, 2025 at the Roger W Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth from 6PM to 8PM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
