Roy Edward Horsley, 78

Roy Edward Horsley, 78 of Stout, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Hospice of Hope in Maysville, Kentucky. He was born June 27, 1946 in Adams County to the late Cecil and Lora Blevins Horsley.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Spires Horsley and 3 brothers; Raymond, Cecil Jr. and Thurman Horsley.

Roy was a Township Trustee in Green Township for 24 years. He and his brother were in the logging business.

Roy is survived by 2 sons; Roy Douglas (Sheila) Horsley and Roger Dale Horsley, a sister, Lois Ann (John) Hackworth, 3 brothers; David H. (Anita) Horsley, Herman (Amy) Horsley and Allen Dale (Julie) Horsley, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson, 2 great granddaughters, special nephew Richard Horsley, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews along with his special friend and caregiver, Joyce Ann Mains.

At Roy’s request there will be graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 10, 2025 at Jamison Cemetery in Lewis County Kentucky with Wayne Harper officiating.
