Rufford Winn, 76

Rufford Winn, 76, of Portsmouth, went to be with the lord September 1, 2022, at his home.  He was born December 3, 1945,

 to the late Elmer and Girlie Alley Win.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Willard, Eddie, Elvie, and Emerson Winn. 

Rufford is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maltie Spencer Winn; 5 sons, Joey (Rina), Brian (Sherry), Jeff, Jimmy, and Rufford (Lena) Winn Jr.; a daughter, Loretta Chapman; Jeff Godfrey; 4 brothers, Estel, Russell, William, and Steve Winn; 3 sisters, Jeanette Twinem, Norma Large, and Glenna Reed; 3 grandchildren, Brittany Winn, Joseph Winn, and Loretta Kay Chapman; a step-grandson; a special friend and pastor, Sandra Hampton; a brother-in-law and best friend, Thomas Spencer; along with many very special nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be held Thursday, 12:00 noon, September 8, 2022, at God's Holiness Tabernacle Nace’s Run Church and officiated by Sandra Hampton with interment in Rushtown Cemetery to follow.  There will be a visitation beginning at 4:00PM Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the church and will end just prior to the service on Thursday.  Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
