Shirley Marie Cook, 49

Shirley Marie Cook, 49 of McDermott, died Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1973 in Portsmouth to the late Paul Lebham Cook and Shirley Ann Queen Cook who survives.

Shirley was a 1991 graduate of Northwest High School.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a brother David E. Cook and a grandchild Betty J. Eldridge.

Along with her mother Shirley, she is survived by a son, Paul Warren Cooley, 3 daughters: Destiny Marie Cook, Tonya Marie Cook and Faith Marie Cooley, 3 brothers: Paul E. Cook, Harold W. Cook, and Mark A. Cook, 2 sisters: Beverly A. Hiles and Kimberly S. Fulk and 2 granddaughters: Candice F. Eldridge and Keara L. Eldridge.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday December 17, 2022 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home.
