Thomas Edward Partlow, 82

Thomas Edward Partlow, 82 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday January 4, 2023 at Rest Haven Nursing Home. He was born May 18, 1940 in Portsmouth to the late Walter Augustus and Martha Lenore Greer Partlow.

Along with his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a son Brian Partlow, a sister Jackie Pass and a step grandchild.

Tom retired from Osco Industries as a Superintendent after 34 years of service. For the past 8 years, he was a bus aide at Vern Riffe school. He was a member of Aurora Masonic Lodge and was a School Board Member for Washington -Nile School District for 14 years. Tom loved kids and dogs. He was very active in youth sports.

Tom is survived by his wife Nancy Osborne Partlow, 2 sons: Brett Partlow and Brad Partlow, 2 stepsons: Tobias Simon and Zachary Simon, a daughter, Tiffany Partlow and a stepdaughter, Ashley Soard, a brother Pete Partlow, 2 sisters: Sharon Harris and Linda Wight, a friend like a brother Ted Smith along with 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday January 9, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rick Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Rosemount Cemetery.
