Although Jeanne and I had not seen each other in many years I often think back to all the fun we had together as kids when I came to Berryville and spent several weeks in the summer. I was so happy when Paul and Jeanne started dating and got married. Two of the sweetest people I have known. Paul, may you and your family cherish the blessings you have been given by being part of Jeanne's life and may you find peace knowing she is in God's arms.

To Jeanne family and friends. How sadden you all must feel these are indeed difficult times. Death is so devastating however please remember our Heavenly Father's promise at Revelation 21:3, 4 and Isaiah 55:11. I hope that reading those thoughts bring some comfort as we all await to see our loved ones again. My most sincere and heartfelt prayers and condolences during these difficult times.

It was 26 years ago that I met her. She was my 3rd grade teacher at the time. (Friendship Elementary) Not only did she bring so much joy to our lives, but she was an amazing person. She bought two hermit crabs for our class and we named them Homer and Shelly. She also had us make a time capsule for when we graduated high school. To my surprise, she mailed out all of our items after graduation. Not many people leave a positive mark on your life, but she did just that.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Mrs. Lester was the best teacher! She went above and beyond. She will be missed dearly. She was my 3rd grade teacher at friendship. I remember making wrapping paper in her class with wax paper and crayon shavings. ❤

I just read Jeannie's obituary and every word is true. Whomever wrote these beautiful words nailed it! We were all blessed to have known her or even have crossed paths with her. We all should use Jeanne's Christian example and discipleship to model our lives after. She used her 64 short years to make a difference here on Earth, and now will be rewarded in Heaven. "Well done, thy good and faithful servant!"
