Harry L. Stidham 59



Harry L. Stidham 59 of West Portsmouth died Friday, August 13, 2010 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. Harry was born March 3, 1951 in Portsmouth to the late Clyde “Spook” Stidham and Dorothy Swords Stidham Day who survives. He was the Co Owner/Operator of the Royal Lounge in Portsmouth, a Vietnam Army Veteran and a member of James Dickey Post 23 American Legion and the Eagles. He was preceded in death by 4 half brothers’; Tom, Jerry, Don and Jim Stidham.



Harry is survived by his wife; Gwendolyn Eastham Stidham, one son; Corey (Janie Joseph) Stidham of West Portsmouth, one daughter; Christy (Andy) Zabrieszack, two grandchildren; Andrew and Abbie Zabrieszack of Greenup, two brothers; Ralph and Scott Stidham both of Baltimore, Maryland and a Sister; Janice Ann Parker.



Funeral services will be 1PM Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Shawn Rose officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with graveside military rites by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call from 6 to 8PM on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com

My thoughts and prayers to the Stidham family. I've many fond memories of Harry. He was my Babe Ruth league baseball coach and extremely thoughtful, personable, caring, and loved to have fun!

R.I.P. Harry.Gone but not forgotten.So glad I got to see Harry last sat.evening and big Rick Ferell at Ricky Ferells concert at Noggins.Such a shock to hear of his passing.So sorry to his family.R.I.P.
